The Ukiah Main Street Program is on the look-out for some enthusiastic people to be involved in this year’s Taste of Downtown to be held on June 12^th, 2009. Taste of Downtown is a rising event for Ukiah and plans to continue growing for many years to come. A huge reason for the Taste of Downtown’s success is the dedicated citizens that volunteer their time to help put on this wonderful downtown event. We need your help to release all the wonderful tastes in Downtown Ukiah!! The Ukiah Main Street Program is looking for volunteers to help with set up and take-down of this year’s Taste of Downtown, June 12^th! There are many opportunities available to help out during this event. Volunteers are needed to hand out programs, sell tickets, check id’s, collect tickets, set up tables and banners, and help clean up the site once the tasting is done. Make sure to stop by the office and to find out more about being a volunteer at this wonderful Main Street event as soon as possible! Oh yeah, please, bring a friend!

 

In return for your valued service, volunteers received one complimentary ticket to the tasting. The fun all takes place downtown from 5-9 pm, Friday June 12^th, 2009.
